"I would highly recommend both the mindfulness course and Amy as a teacher. The course came just in time for me. When I started, my body was falling apart due to stress and I wasn't in a good place, physically or mentally. I noticed an improvement after my very first session and after 8 weeks, I was noticeably a different person. The change has been a revelation for me and I now feel in control of my stress and anxiety. I am so glad that I took the course and I will continue to use mindfulness in the future." - Sarah
“I was slightly apprehensive about signing up to this 8 week course, but I needn’t have been. It was a wonderful 8 weeks of learning some invaluable skills, and feeling part of a supportive group. The meditations were well guided and having the recordings to continue to use is so helpful. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone needing to pause and reset!” - Cheryl
"I found the MBSR course with Amy transformative...I have learnt some very helpful mindfulness tools and strategies to build into my daily routines and create oases of calm, which make a huge difference." - Lynda
"From the first session, I was able to take away useful strategies to put into practice...I would thoroughly recommend this course to anyone." - Angie
"Amy has been an inspirational teacher. I am taking away a huge amount of good things from the course." - Jane

There are free local NHS “mindfulness based stress reduction” (MBSR) or “mindfulness based cognitive therapy” (MBCT) courses which people can be referred on to by their specialist if they meet the criteria (e.g. chronic pain - click here for information about the service at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Trust).
I love the book 'Mindfulness: Finding Peace in a Frantic World' by Mark Williams and Danny Penman, it explains the science of mindfulness and guides you through a mindfulness course at home accompanied by guided meditations. Click here for the book’s website, including free meditations.
