Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)

Taster session Monday 24th February, 7.30-9pm
8 weekly sessions on the following Monday evenings, 7.15-9.15pm:

• Week 2 - 16th March

(6th and 13th April – no sessions, Easter break)

My Feel-Good Yoga classes incorporate mindful movement and a short guided mindfulness meditation at the end of each class.
There are free local NHS “mindfulness based stress reduction” (MBSR) or “mindfulness based cognitive therapy” (MBCT) courses which people can be referred on to by their specialist if they meet the criteria (e.g. chronic pain - click here for information about the service at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Trust).
I love the book 'Mindfulness: Finding Peace in a Frantic World' by Mark Williams and Danny Penman, it explains the science of mindfulness and guides you through a mindfulness course at home accompanied by guided meditations. Click here for the book’s website, including free meditations.
