Corporate and private sessions
A session tailored to your needs
Whether you would like mindfulness sessions for your staff, a private course of yoga classes for a group or individual, or seated massage at a wellbeing event, I am happy to discuss how I can meet your needs.
All one-to-one and private sessions include a free initial consultation, session plans tailored to your needs and preferences, and provision of resources for home practice if appropriate.
As this 2017 Guardian article highlights, "A growing number of businesses are encouraging their employees to be healthy and emotionally resilient". I am always excited to meet companies looking into ways of boosting staff well-being, and love teaching people ways to de-stress and feel good in their bodies. Official statistics are sobering - 12.5 million working days were lost due to work-related stress, depression or anxiety in 2016/17. Alongside stress, office workers and those with sedentary lifestyles are particularly prone to aches and pains associated with frequent sitting, and can greatly benefit from massage and yoga. In addition, a 2017 article in Harvard Business Review explains how practising mindfulness every day can make you less reactive, make better decisions and be more productive.

Organisations I've worked with
Having previously worked for several years in a pressured environment as a compliance and quality management specialist, I understand work-related stress. I teach what works: evidence-based practices to calm the mind and body, so that people can reduce stress, get clearer, more creative, and focussed. I am listed on the UK Network of Mindfulness Teachers, demonstrating that I meet the UK Good Practice Guidelines, and teach the gold-standard, evidence-based course ‘Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction’. I am also trained, accredited and insured with Yoga Alliance Professionals, and hold City & Guilds qualifications in massage, anatomy and physiology.
I have been delighted to be invited to deliver a series of massage sessions for staff at an accountancy firm, weekly yoga classes for a company of solicitors, and a mindfulness taster for a national charity, amongst many other events. Here's a flavour of the organisations I have worked with:
Stroud District Council
GL11 Community Hub
Woodchester Valley Village
Walnut Tree Practice (local NHS GP surgery)
British Tinnitus Association
“Amy provided massage sessions as part of our health and wellbeing month. We had never done this before and weren’t sure how it would be received but Amy was fully booked at every session. The staff really appreciated the opportunity to relax, unwind from the daily grind and enjoy a therapeutic massage. Amy provided a relaxing ambiance, was very professional and friendly” - Hazlewoods (Chartered Accountants)
"We could not recommend Amy highly enough. Amy is a fantastic teacher, very enthusiastic, responsive to the different needs and abilities of a diverse group and always keen to receive feedback and adapt her yoga lessons as requested. We have a lot of fun in our lessons, and being able to clear the head and stretch out is a perfect tonic after a morning sat at the desk. Amy’s lessons are definitely helping us all to become stronger and more flexible as well as happier and more relaxed at work!" - Loxley Solicitors
"There was a comment left on our facebook to say how well they thought the day went and how much they got out of it, particularly the mindfulness which they are going to try to adopt in to their routine." - British Tinnitus Association (National Charity)
